About our Marsfield retirement village
Set in award-winning gardens in the heart of Sydney’s sought-after northern suburbs, Leisure Lea Gardens Retirement Village is a peaceful, pretty haven with all the advantages of being only 18km from Sydney’s CBD.
The village has an excellent location on Epping Road and is close to shopping centres, recreational and sporting clubs. There is a Woolworths supermarket just up the road and the Macquarie Shopping Centre, with its 360 stores, is just a few bus stops away. Great food and entertainment are available at the nearby Epping Club, Eastwood Rugby Club and Ranch Hotel.
For those who want peace of mind and the option of care around the clock, Leisure Lea Gardens is the sensible choice. There are staff members on-site seven days a week, 24 hours a day to respond to any emergency. Each resident has an emergency button as well as a pendant which, when activated, will alert an on-site staff member who will assess the situation and call an ambulance, if necessary.
Personal Care Assistants are available at Leisure Lea Gardens to provide a wide range of services such as dispensing Webster Packs, showering, applying creams and eye drops, bed-making, personal washing and ironing. An in-house car service to medical and social appointments in the local area can be arranged.
There are many excellent services at Leisure Lea Gardens, including an on-site chef who provides three meals daily in the attractive dining-room, a doctor who consults in the village’s own medical room twice a week, a podiatrist who visits weekly and a daily chemist script service.
A hairdresser visits three times a week and the village offers a regular fruit and vegetable delivery service. Milk is also delivered on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays and newspapers are delivered daily.
Many residents take part in the free exercise classes which are held twice a week and weekly Zumba Gold Classes are provided for a small fee. Indoor bowls is played weekly in the atrium, where you can also enjoy table tennis and work out on the gym equipment.
You will have to pay a departure fee when you leave this village, which will impact on the share of any capital gains received when leaving the village.
