Sarah Fox – The Body Philosophy
Relaxation Massage, Reflexology, Anatomy and Physiology

Whether you are taking some time to relax and reconnect, you’re feeling blue or have a specific issue, at The Body Philosophy we listen, unconditionally, and offer caring touch in a safe and supportive environment.

I’m Sarah Fox. Reflexologist, Relaxation Massage Practitioner, Anatomy and Physiology trainer and the Founder and Co-ordinator of the Wellness Centres at Living Choice.

Selecting a group of like-minded practitioners is one of my realised goals. To have people around you that educate and inspire, support and contribute with the same values, it’s an honour to work with them. Together we provide a bank of knowledge about physical and mental wellness with clinic and class options to suit your choice of pathway.  We are there for you.

My practice includes:

Relaxation Massage is just that. Slow, rhythmic, calming, warm oil, comforting. When the body is relaxed the muscles stand out like rocks in the sand. Then we can get to work on them.

Reflexology is an ancient technique which has its roots in many cultures, Egyptian, Chinese, American Indian, Ayurveda and more. It is said that the soles of the feet and palms of the hands contain points that cause and reflect the condition of all the structures and organs of the body.  I use reflexology as a gateway to manipulating the physical anatomy of the feet also.  This is an amazing treatment for feet as they are responsible for our balance and mobility. As feet change physically over time – yes, all feet do change over time – stretching and manipulation is extremely beneficial to maintain flexibility, identifying and managing changes, and generally making your feet so happy that you’ll – “feel like you’re walking on air” (client comment).

Anatomy and Physiology is important when addressing what you are experiencing. By understanding how the body works when you have an issue, you can focus on the simplicity of the body’s functioning, letting your body accept where you are, and remember how it should be. By understanding the basics, you can improve your response to self-repair and enhance the effects of any treatment.
