Living at Living Choice Fullarton is like living on a cruise liner, except you never have to pack your bags! Everything is on offer, from superb meals at Damien on Fisher Restaurant which is open daily, excellent coffee that Hudsons Coffee is renowned for, access to the Wellness Centre with specifically tailored exercise programs, and a variety of organised activities.
A wide range of specialty shops, supermarkets and restaurants can be found in nearby Unley Road, King William Road and at Burnside Shopping Centre and the Duthy Street shops are within walking distance.
Facilities at Fullarton
The leisure centre, incorporating a restaurant and coffee shop, is the heart of the village. There is an indoor heated pool, gymnasium, bowls green, movie theatre, library and computer room, workshop, hairdressing salon, medical rooms, billiards room, art and craft studio, auditorium with dance floor, boardroom and outdoor BBQ area.
Movie fans will love Fullarton Retirement Village, which boasts a state-of-the-art cinema with large screen and tiered, luxuriously appointed seating. It’s the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine while you watch the latest movie – and your children and grandchildren will love it too!
Well-known Adelaide chef Damien Hein has opened Damien on Fisher, an upmarket restaurant specialising in modern Australian cuisine, on the ground floor of the leisure centre. Click here to see the menu. The restaurant also includes a trendy café, incorporating Hudsons Coffee, and it’s the perfect place to catch up with friends. The village boasts a beautiful new bowls green, conveniently situated between Concordia and Fisher buildings. Overlooking the green is a wide, covered walkway and viewing area, where fellow bowlers can watch in air-conditioned comfort and the alfresco BBQ area is close by. Residents also have the use of the adjacent Concordia College tennis courts, by prior arrangement.

There are many interest groups at Living Choice Fullarton, including craft, art, bridge, snooker, computer group, Mah-jong, scrabble, darts, table tennis, woodwork, bocce and bowls.
Sport and Fitness

Friday Happy Hours are very popular at Living Choice Fullarton and the village’s own restaurant and café, Damien on Fisher, is a popular meeting place. Regular themed events, concerts, art exhibitions and dinners are also held and there is a village bus for outings.
Residents have a wide range of shopping options at Living Choice Fullarton with Duthy Street shops within walking distance and regular village bus trips to Unley Shopping Centre and Burnside Shopping Centre. The village also has its own vehicle which can be hired by residents for a small daily fee.
Care and security at Fullarton
Living Choice Fullarton is renowned for its wonderful, caring staff. You will also feel secure with underground parking and lifts to your floor, keycard access to your apartment and monitored entry to the leisure centre.
The Silver Service Supported Living plan at Living Choice Fullarton enables residents to live independently for as long as possible and be supported by a range of services rather than be moved prematurely to an Aged Care Facility.
Living Choice and the residents’ chosen care providers ensure you have the choice to stay in your apartment for as long as possible and have care and support brought to you. Staff members are on-site 7 days per week, 24 hours a day and around-the-clock emergency response is also provided by Tunstall’s trained staff off-site, backed by our on-site care staff.
All staff members at Living Choice Fullarton are fully trained in Advanced First Aid and are on-site between 9am and 5pm five days a week. A carer takes over at 5pm until 9am and is also on duty on weekends and public holidays. The cost of the carers is included in the monthly levy.
A Tunstall Smart Hub is installed in all homes and common areas and a waterproof pendant is also supplied. At the touch of a button residents can press their pendant or Help button to be connected to Tunstall and our on-site carer. Together they will assess the situation and summon an ambulance, if necessary.

Restaurant - Damien on Fisher
One of the most appreciated facilities at Living Choice Fullarton retirement village is the restaurant and cafe, “Damien on Fisher”, which is owned by renowned chef Damien Hein. The restaurant is licensed and is open 7 days for lunch from 12pm and for dinner from 6pm with last orders at 8pm.

The menu at Damien on Fisher offers a wide range of freshly prepared, delicious food. “I source my produce from trusted restaurant and café association approved suppliers and look for freshness, seasonality and it must be local,” says Damien.
Lunch is available from 12 noon to 2pm and dinner is served nightly from 6pm to 8pm. These include Shared Boards such as battered sashimi scallops with wasabi mayo, mini lamb burgers, salt & pepper chicken tenderloins with caesar dipping to mains such as Chicken Stack, Beef Fillet, Massaman Lamb, SA Whiting and Prawn Risotto. Light meals and cakes are also available Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and on weekends from 10am to 4pm, while the coffee that Damien’s is famous for is available until 9pm.
