Maintenance-free lifestyle
With no maintenance or gardening to worry about, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the many activities and facilities on offer at the village. The beautiful Broadwater, excellent shops and Kincumber Library are on your doorstep and you will also feel safe and secure in your retirement with keycard access to Waterfront Estate and regular security patrols in other areas of the village.

Indoor heated pool and bowls
Aquarobics is popular at Broadwater Court, with classes held regularly at two of our community centres. There is a bowling green at Waterfront Estate which was recently resurfaced and social bowls is played three times a week.
Cycling/Walking track
The Gosford City Council recently opened a beautiful 3.4km waterfront walking and cycling track and it starts right outside our retirement village! It is well-used by our cycling group F.I.T.S (Fun in the Saddle) as well as the village’s walking group. Our cyclists also enjoy cycling trips further afield, including to Canberra and New Zealand.
Community centres
In our well-equipped community centres you can test your skills on the snooker table, get creative in the craft and woodworking rooms, visit the libraries, enjoy a drink at Happy Hour or get fit in the gymnasiums, heated pools and spas. There is also an auditorium, barbecue areas, a putting green and medical rooms.
Art & Craft rooms
If you love doing art and craft, you will love Living Choice Broadwater Court retirement village. There are three art groups to choose from – or attend all three! There is also a craft group as well as a knitting group called the “Witty Knitters” who make beautiful items for the needy. Woodwork rooms are also available for those who enjoy working with timber.

Village bus and excursions
Broadwater Court retirement village has its own village bus and takes residents on regular excursions and shopping trips to Gosford and Erina Fair on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Once a month, the bus also takes residents to Sydney, including Circular Quay. Local public buses run along Avoca Drive, outside the village, so it’s easy to get around.
Sport and Fitness
Apart from cycling and walking along the picturesque 3.4km waterfront track, which hugs the Broadwater, there is a wide range of activities to keep you fit and healthy at Living Choice Broadwater Court. Regular tai chi, line dancing and aquarobics classes plus Active Over 50’s Exercises are held weekly. You can also enjoy putting, bowls or make use of our three gymnasiums or two heated indoor pools.
Cards and games
Like to have a bit of fun in your retirement? Then come to Broadwater Court where you can enjoy bingo, Hand & Foot (Canasta), scrabble, Mahjong, Rummikub, Crazy Whist and 500 Card Games. There’s something to do every day of the week so you will never be bored! The Kincumber Library is also adjacent to the village and there are board games available for use in the library.
Social activities
The village has many active residents who organise a wide range of activities and outings, including happy hours, snooker, sing-a-longs, bingo, garden club outings, church services and catered dinners. The Carrak Coffee Club is also very active and there is an iPad Users’ Group. Events are also held to celebrate Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Australia Day, Anzac Day and Melbourne Cup Day.
Care and security at Broadwater Court
Residents at Living Choice Broadwater Court can sleep easy knowing that care is available on-site seven days a week, 24 hours a day. A Registered Nurse is on duty Monday-Friday 9am to 1pm and after hours a Personal Care Assistant is available to respond to emergencies. Personal Care Assistants are also on duty during weekends and public holidays.
In addition, the retirement village has an on-site medical centre where residents can see a General Practitioner or podiatrist.

Residents also have the peace of mind of living in a secure environment, where staff and neighbours look out for each other. At the Waterfront and Frost Estates there are security gates and all other areas of the village are patrolled by a K9 security patrol.
Home Care
At Living Choice villages on the Central Coast you can have care and support services in the comfort of your own home. Registered Nurse & Carers
A Registered Nurse is on-site at Broadwater Court from 9am to 1pm Mondays to Fridays. Carers also provide on-site after-hours care, including weekends and public holidays, and provide prompt attention in medical and maintenance emergencies. Regular blood pressure clinics and other preventative care programs are held regularly.
Emergency response
A `MyHomeFone’ emergency alarm system is installed at Broadwater Court which, when activated, alerts the monitoring company and a village staff member who will go immediately to the resident’s home.
On-site Medical Centre
General Practitioner, Dr Gilian Moreland, visits Broadwater and consults on 3 Tuesdays per month at the village’s own medical centre in the Administration building at 79 Avoca Drive. The residents have come to greatly appreciate this valued service, which is bulk-billed.
