Living Choice Broadwater Court ticked all the boxes when Josh Clarke was researching retirement villages on the internet for his much-loved Dad, John Clarke. John moved into his villa in July 2016 and, as a successful referrer, Josh and his wife Belinda, were entered in the annual Gala Reward Event draw to win a $5,000 travel voucher.

As brand new parents of their first baby, Oliver, Josh and Belinda were unable to attend the draw held at Living Choice Alloura Waters on 21 July, but they certainly were deserving winners. Contacted following the event, Josh said, “We have never won anything so we are over the moon!”

Josh, who is the Principal Trumpeter for the Opera Australia Orchestra, said they had brought their Dad down to Kincumber from the Mid North Coast to be closer to them in Sydney. “We loved Broadwater Court’s location – it’s adjacent to the shops and the bus service, only one hour from us and Dad loves nature and being close to water.

“Dad could be independent but still have support, if necessary – the doctor’s consulting rooms are even in the village and the sales consultant, Dave Grassby, was amazing and very supportive.”

Despite the winners not being present, the Central Coast Gala Reward Event was still a great success and, as always, the Alloura Waters Resident Ambassadors put on a spectacular show.

Around 74 people attended and were greeted by a fabulously decorated room filled with colourful balloons to set the festive mood. There was a plentiful supply of delicious food prepared by Nina and her team at Forks Fine Catering and the drinks flowed.

Tim Bentley, General Manager NSW Central Coast & QLD, presented the results of the 2016/2017 Referral Program and thanked the many referrers who had recommended their friends or family members to a Living Choice village.
