Twin Waters Retirement Village

Living Choice Twin Waters

Sunshine Coast, Queensland

Living Choice Twin Waters retirement village is part of a suburb that was once voted “the world’s best residential address”, situated 1km from stunning beaches, within walking distance of shops, an international golf resort and tennis club and overlooking the Bill Kear Waterway.

Our selection of retirement homes include spacious 2, 3 and even 4-bedroom villas and a limited number of apartments overlooking the water. In addition, a private 500 metre waterfront boardwalk provides access to 40 hectares of recreational lake and the Maroochy River.

The resort-style facilities include a leisure centre with indoor heated pool, gym and spa, movie theatre, library/computer room, workshop, hairdressing salon, pampering room, billiards room, auditorium with dance floor, lounge and bar. Next to the bowls green there is a clubhouse with lounge, kitchen, bar, art and craft studio and games room. With so many facilities and interest groups at Twin Waters, it’s easy to keep an active, healthy lifestyle.

For added peace of mind, a co-located Estia Health Aged Care Residence opened in September 2017, so you need never leave the village if you or your partner requires extra care.

Testimonials from our wonderful residents

Thank you to those residents that offer testimonials about their experience living at Living Choice Twin Waters retirement village. We value what our residents have to say, and the Living Choice team work hard to ensure that we are exceeding resident expectations.

Here are some of the testimonials we have received:

The boxes are ticked

We are very happy to say that after 14 months of residence at Living Choice Twin Waters, we are well and truly settled in to our chosen lifestyle.

We looked at all lifestyle options available at the time of deciding that a retirement community would suit our requirements going forward.

Being in our seventies, but still active and adventurous, the final choice was quite easy.

Living Choice Twin Waters ticked all the boxes  :-

  • Location; Central to all major shopping, restaurants, clubs, airport, motorway.
  • Facilities; Two pools, 5 star theatre, auditorium, library, gymnasium, workshop, club house, lawn bowls green.
  • Presentation; We are always proud to “ show off “ our grounds, leisure centre and surrounds to our visitors.
  • All staff; We have been very impressed by the care, compassion and dedication of all staff.
  • Activities; The slogan “resort living for the unretiring”, is very apt.

There is never a dull moment –  shopping and show excursions by village bus, lawn bowls, fitness classes, cards, pottery, table tennis, and billiards as well as numerous activity groups  and also village social functions and dinners.

Our living choice was a very spacious, private and secure apartment, designed specifically with comfort and ease of living in mind.

We were made to feel at home from day one and have always felt very welcome, safe and secure in the knowledge that there is 24/7 help and assistance available if required. We have made many new friendships.

Lynne Mills and Graeme Lavender

Safe and friendly

I am very happy with my decision to move to Living Choice Twin Waters.

The atmosphere is safe and friendly with a wide variety of activities offered.

I have been made to feel very welcome by the other residents, and I am enjoying living in the quiet, attractive community.

Ticks all the boxes

My late husband and I moved to LC Twin Waters 17 years ago. Due to health issues, he felt it best to be in a Retirement Village. We had looked at some villages from Sunshine Coast to Brisbane but Living Choice Twin Waters ticked all the boxes.

The villas are well-appointed and are perfect for retiring years. I have found great camaraderie amongst the residents and Management and staff. There have been a couple of changes, but they have always been obliging.

There are lots of social activities, which I love, along with bowls and crafts. I have no doubt any prospective resident will love it as I do.

Exactly where we are meant to be

We moved to Queensland from South Australia about two years ago. Originally, we planned to buy our final house somewhere on the Sunshine Coast and didn’t seriously think about a retirement village. Once we started looking for our next house, we also started to learn about retirement villages and after looking at a few villages we discovered how many lovely villages there are.

We were staying near Twin Waters and just happened to hear about Living Choice Twin Waters. After our initial visit and a tour of the village we were hooked. What is not to like about a village with its own Leisure Centre, swimming pools, bowls green, gym and cinema, to name a few, and we have a wonderful team managing the village.

We love being in the centre of the Sunshine Coast only half an hour to Noosa, Caloundra and Maleny. There are so many choices whether dining, walking on lovely beaches, listening to music or going to shows and we can always leave the hustle of daily life and return to our quiet village.

We quickly realised this was exactly where we are meant to be.

Irena and Patrick

Convenience and comfort

We love living at Twin Waters Retirement Village, because it is in a good position for beaches, river, walking tracks, shops and the airport. It provides better equipped and larger villas for comfort, and the very best care and service from all of the Living Choice Staff.

We look forward to many happy years living at Twin Waters Retirement Village.

Barbara and Derek Potter

Why I love living at Twin Waters

There is a lot that I love about living here at Living Choice Twin Waters. We can walk across the road to a great restaurant, coffee shop, medical practice, pharmacy and a small grocery store. I can walk to Mudjimba (patrolled surf beach) in 35 minutes. It is a closer walk to the canals and the Maroochy River where I enjoy seeing all the wildlife (birds like rainbow honeyeaters and kingfishers, kangaroos, fish and rays) that live here too.

In our previous house I felt isolated and lonely in suburbia. Since moving here almost three years ago, I have made some really good new friends and never feel lonely. I love being able to walk to the many regular dinners and movies in our Leisure Centre knowing I only have to walk 100 metres home. I look forward to Book Club each month and would not miss Trivia night if I can help it – Go the Deadbeats!

A big thank-you to every one of the Living Choice Twin Waters staff members who are friendly, caring and eager to help in any way they can. It is a great relief to hand over home maintenance and lawn mowing but also wonderful to still be able to garden in our yard as well as grow our own veggies in our community garden plot.
