Natasha Woodward reports
Christmas is only a few days away and the grim reality has set in that for many, things will be a lot different this year. However, the team at Living Choice Alloura Waters knew how to put a smile on the residents’ faces and spread a little Christmas spirit at a time where it is needed most.
The staff members at Living Choice Alloura Waters have made it their annual tradition to do a ‘Santa Run’ around the village and deliver “choccies” to all the residents. Who said Santa is only for the kiddies?
Santa (aka Chris Bechmann Svolgarrd from maintenance/gardening) was driven around in true Aussie style on the back of the Living Choice ute by a very special helper, Trudie Allan. He was waving and greeting residents as he drove past. Santa was accompanied by three little helpers – Rose Allen, Sally Mutton and village manager, Leanne Maini who handed out chocolates and greeted the residents with warm smiles.
