The directors and staff of Living Choice Fullarton rolled out the red carpet for the first residents when the doors of the luxury 140-apartment retirement village opened in Fullarton, Adelaide on Monday 15th December.
It was a dream come true for the Adelaide born and bred directors, Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs but it was also the beginning of an exciting new era for the first residents Scott and Jean Hutchinson.
Scott and Jean had been looking forward to their move-in day ever since they attended the first Focus Group on the Fisher Street village in May 2011. They were the first to deposit and fittingly, they were the first to walk the red carpet when the doors opened.
The village is a hive of activity with staff welcoming 41 residents to 28 apartments in the first week. Thankfully, the on-site restaurant “Damien on Fisher” (incorporating Hudsons Coffee) was fully operational from Day I, with residents, their families, visitors and staff members taking full advantage of the extensive menu.
Living Choice Fullarton will soon be 50 percent occupied and now that the village is open, it is expected that the remaining apartments will be sold quickly.
