There are now 13 practitioners offering health, fitness and beauty services at Living Choice Fullarton and their services were showcased at a Health & Wellness Expo on Saturday 2nd November. Village manager, Brian Lynch said approximately 60 people attended the event, including many non-residents who came to find out more about the services on offer.
Living Choice Wellness Coordinator, Sarah Fox, said there had been good feedback from the public. “Many people did not realise that the Wellness Centre is open to the public. The workshop format was well-received and averaged 18 attendees per workshop with some standing room only.”
Workshops were presented by Claire Mills of Respect Dental, Brad Yates of Yates Physiotherapy, beautician Maria Caruso, Danielle Rodger of Fuel Your Life, Sarah Fox of The Body Philosophy and Jo Nelligan and Mark Heard of the Healthy Life Foot Clinic. There were also displays by Active OT, DoTerra Essential Oils, Botanica Medica, T Bar and Dr Hautschka facial products.
Sarah said the practitioners and local business contributors were very generous with the door prizes and the winners were Tania, a member of the public, and John Stephenson, President of the Fullarton Residents’ Committee.
