Great roll-up for annual Mitchell District Pairs Carnival

The impact of COVID-19 has affected most sporting activities over the past two years and the Mitchell District Women’s Bowling Association has had to cancel its annual Ladies’ Pairs Carnival twice. Therefore, it was great to see the Mitchell District ladies back playing bowls at their annual carnival played at Castle Hill Bowling Club on 20th June.

Sponsored every year by Living Choice, the 2022 Carnival attracted teams from many women’s bowling clubs in The Hills and surrounding areas. Fifty-six players filled up two greens and there was plenty of fun and laughter, both on and off the greens. Congratulations to the Carnival winners, Thelma Morrison and Bobbie Cochrane from Castle Hill.
