Lower Murray & Hills Vets pause to remember the Queen
Seventy-five Lower Murray & Hills Veteran Golfers headed to Murray Bridge for their annual President’s Cup match on Monday 19th September, pausing to remember the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II before taking to the fairways.
President of the LM & H Vets, Colin Stevens, said the weather was good and the course was in great condition.
Highlights of the day included an eagle by Bruce Agnew, while Colin Stevens won three nearest to the pins. Many prizes were given out, including a Living Choice golf towel for every winner.
The overall winner of the President’s Cup was Richard Griffin who won on a countback from Ron Foreman. Richard won a $150 Eftpos card, which was purchased using Living Choice’s sponsorship funds.
